a little bit about me...

I was born and raised in Oconomowoc, WI, and up until 2021, it's where I spent the majority of my life. I grew up as a musician, spending most of my childhood playing instruments, playing outside, and playing pretend. As the makeshift stage in the living room of my childhood home eventually became the stage of an auditorium and a mark in front of the camera, my passion for performance and storytelling only grew. I studied acting at the University of Iowa, and I recently graduated with a BA in Theatre Arts and English Creative Writing, and a minor in Cinema.
who I am as an actor . . .
I’ve always believed in the need for storytelling, both as a form of entertainment and a way to induce real change. I act because I think that acting is one of the truest representations of humanity. As an artist, I’m drawn to stories that are unapologetically true, to characters that are complex, raw, and achingly human, and to any opportunity that allows me to play dangerously. My style is honest and specific, and I resonate well with Meisner, movement work, and collaborative improvisation.

. . . and as an artist
I also find great joy in writing. Though my primary focus at university was on acting, I also studied English Creative Writing, where I found myself getting lost in the world of literature. I’m obsessed with the power language can hold in script and speech, and I love crafting words and worlds, especially in screenwriting (though prose also holds a special place in my heart!)
Outside of acting . . .
Outside of my work as an artist, I enjoy reading, making coffee, and spending time with friends. I love camping, hiking, playing card games, and have recently taken up knitting! I still love playing my instruments (flute, piano, guitar, and ukulele) and getting involved with any and all things music related, whether it's going to concerts, playing a gig, or singing with my sister.
